I’ve shipped AI features at enterprise level and I agree this is a thoughtful and much-needed framework especially as more PMs are being asked to ship AI without formal guardrails.

One layer I’ve seen make a meaningful difference at enterprise scale (particularly in banking) is Model Risk Management.

MRM introduces structured review across compliance, safety, transparency, and reliability and while it can extend timelines, it often prevents downstream issues like customer complaints, regulatory exposure, and costly rework.

Not every organisation has this capability in place, but where it exists, it becomes a powerful complement to product-led AI frameworks.

For PMs operating in environments where this function doesn’t yet exist, escalating the need with leadership for Model Risk Review structures, governance support early or equivalent guardrails can be a valuable first step. In my experience, early advocacy here often saves teams from far more difficult conversations later

Curious how others are handling this gap in less regulated environments.

What happens when two amazing people join forces? Apparently… frameworks are born and the rest of us start taking notes at light speed. Elena, Cristina, this collab is so good. 🩷🦩
